Export and Reports

Chartlet.AI helps you turn analysis into shareable outputs for teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Export Options

Generated reports

Create shareable report files from dashboards, charts, and AI-assisted narratives.

Chart downloads

Download individual charts where the chart view exposes an export action.

Dashboard sharing

Share a dashboard link when stakeholders need an interactive view instead of a static file.

Data-oriented exports

Use available CSV, JSON, or spreadsheet-style chart exports when you need to keep analyzing outside Chartlet.AI.

When to Use Reports

Reports are useful when you need to:

  • Share sales, marketing, survey, or operations results
  • Summarize trends for a manager or client
  • Package AI-assisted insights with supporting charts
  • Keep a snapshot of analysis from a specific point in time

Report Workflow

  1. Open the dataset or dashboard you want to share.
  2. Review charts, titles, filters, AI text, and any included narrative.
  3. Choose the report or export option available for that view.
  4. Wait for report generation to finish, then download the file.
  5. Share the exported file only with people who should see the underlying data.

Before You Share

  • Confirm the source dataset is the correct version.
  • Check numbers, currencies, and date ranges.
  • Review AI-generated text for accuracy and tone.
  • Remove irrelevant charts before presenting the report.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive data outside the intended audience.

Managing Reports

Report generation can take time. Depending on the view, you may be able to monitor report status, retry failed generation, download finished reports, delete reports you no longer need, or bulk-manage report files.

Chart Downloads

Some chart views expose download actions for quick exports. Use these when you only need a single chart or data slice instead of a full report.

Sharing Reminder

Once you export or share a report outside Chartlet.AI, you are responsible for how that file or link is distributed. Avoid including sensitive information unless it is appropriate for the audience.
